The rear bumper on my new 89 GTU is quite sturdy, I'm glad to say.

Some ******* ******* MOTHER GAHHHH rear ended me at the top of a highway offramp on my way home from work right now (I've had my car for seven days.), I was out of my car and at his window in less than 5 seconds preparing to completely and utterly destroy him when I looked over and saw that my car was completely fine. I'm still pretty pissed off about it though. I'm going to tinker around with everything tomorrow and make sure that nothing got jarred loose, has anyone had any problems like that with minor accidents?

 

Happened to me twice, no damage. I dunno, you could check the frame underneath to be sure.

 

Yeah, I was feeling worried about her so I went out a minute ago and gave it a once over, looks fine. Not much to talk about in this thread, I think it's a good candidate for deletion
