Buddyclub Spec 2 exhaust

Hi, has anyone been running the buddyclub spec 2 exhaust on their cars? I am really thinking about buying one but I really want to see pics of it first to justify the price. So if you have pics post em up!

I thought about this once, then I realized anyone near the car would be deaf... lol. As far as I know, they only made one for the turbo models.

Everyone around the car can get over it, passengers included.

There is a reason imports have a bad name. It's because some owners have no respect for others. An obnoxiously loud exhaust on a street car is a sign of disrespect, because I don't care how cool you think it sounds, if you lived across from me and had a single exit, loud exhaust RX7, better believe I'm going to do something about it if you wake me up in the middle of the night.

Live in a town with a sound oordinace and you are screwed.

ok Im not really worried about sound because as of right now the exhaust is deafening because its 3" straight with a apexi n1 fart can and then the 50m externally dumped gate opens and yeah, point is its already loud and im not worried about sound. I just hate the look of the huge muffler hanging there. Also, nobody said it was a street car

i was also curious about this...i saw a picture of the FD version, it looked ugly. just a long skinny tailpipe with a small resonator chamber/muffler near the end of it...the tip itself is like at least a foot long...i would guess the FC one is almost the same

the whole reason I would get this exhaust over any other is because it does not have the stupid giant fart can just hanging in plain sight. I personally think that looks terrible and ruins the look of my car. If I were to get the buddyclub I would most likely have it powder coated black and cut it to be flush with the bumper

Buddy of mine has the specII exhaust on his AE86, and I'll admit it looks good with the long skinny tip compared to a fart can. But that damn thing is almost ear bleeding loud with out the silencer installed. Even with the silencer I can still hear him driving up from about 2 blocks away.

If you don't like huge tips, why don't you get Racing Beat or Borla? Neither of them need cut either.

Love my corksport, but would die for an RB true dual....

I was also thinking of getting this exhaust, seeing as I want to get away from the typical fart can exhaust. I would probably run a muffler inline, kind of like what I have now with my dual muffler setup, but just keep the end pipe setup. Noise would be an issue, but non-recirculated external wastegates are loud no matter what.

BuddyClub is louder than a straight pipe.

It is a megaphone exhaust.

good to know! I guess I have never looked ino the borla system, I will check it out. Also the racing beat is cool but I have already had a car with it. also I cant run rb true duals after a turbo unless I ran one side for normal exhaust and the other for the wastegate dump but that would be alot of pipe and kind of weird. I am also looking for a lighter wieght exhaust, I want to see how low I can get the weight with full interior.

Thank you for all the input guys!
