Bucking Under Hard Acceleration - TPS IS FINE

you get it....

the TPS measures 4.86 and .97 K OHMS. i figure this will be just fine.

its only under hard acceleration but i havent noticed it in first or second gear. only 3rd through 5th. whatever is causing this im assuming im accelerating fast through those gears so it skips over whatever signal its getting.

tonight im replacing...

Fuel Filter
Plugs (NGK)
Wires
O2 sensor (better mileage...probably not...)
Rear Calipers

im hoping maybe the fuel filter will help...or the plugs and wires. what else could cause bucking like that. its around 4000RPM and up.

EDIT: Oh...and i have run fuel injector cleaner through the system and that didnt do anything. maybe ill take out and flow test my injectors. i dont think thats the problem though.

i had about the same problem, i got my fuel injectors cleaned and my car ran like a top, hasnt hessitated since....

$90 canadian :P

yeah, I would suggest cleaning your injectors and also checking the vac line to your wastegate and make sure it's still fine.

hmmm...i wonder if it is the injectors then. i was hoping that would be the problem. well i will install the stuff i have sitting at home and get back to tell you guys what happened. hopefully i wont have to take that all apart...

my turbo would do the same thing, look into replacing your fuel pump sock, it stopped my bucking

that might actually happen because i have another fuel pump i want to put in. i just havent had the time lately.

not yet...im still at work...i asked the question like an hour ago. im gonna go home at 4. i have to do my brakes before anything because i cant stop too well right now. maybe ill work on that tomorrow. or if i have time tonight ill look at it.

if it doesn't do it in 1st or 2nd it definately sounds fuel supply related...

i just finished with my calipers...how do i change the damn spark plugs with the AC in the way...i might have to take it out because its just in the way anyways...not being used. ill get to the fuel thing tomorrow maybe...we will see....

I have it on my ems, but its set to 13.5lbs and its nowhere near that when it shudders...

im starting to think fuel cut could be the problem...my boost goes to the top of the gauge....how high is that in PSI. i just figured it was supposed to go all the way up but maybe my cat is burnt out letting boost creep happen...
