Question Is this BS?

I'm currently in a search for an TII FC in my area so I emailed a guy with an online ad and this is what he had to say about the car:
"i paid 7200 for this car two years ago but since then rust bubble have come through the rear quarter
it's a good car for normal driving but i would make sure the fenders are really solid before running it over 100 mph because there are rust bubbles also on the inside fender (engine comp) still a pretty car and easily $3000 in parts as the RB is excellent and the engine core is only two years old 10 lbs thrust/ 254,000 km (30,000 on rebuild) blue int is ok small dent on left front fender
front eng comp gasket leaks (have new gasket and seal)
water hose or rad cap leaks second gear needs double clutch on gear down (5 spd) got 540 km on tank of gas on highway michelin snows 20,000 k on rear front are good for another 10-15 new brake pads but add fluid every 6-8 mos brakes are high performance/ power
this engine: 270 bhp @7,000 (@13 lbs thrust) 150 mph maxed out (at mx thrust it eats any mustang or vette)like i say it's basically a great engine/ adjustable hi- perf suspension/ brakes -- body looks great when buffed up nd would look great if it was detailed (it's tri coat pearl) but if you want a shell to mount a serious race car this is not for you on the other hand $3700 looks like at least $10,000!"

I've read afew stats on the TII FC and unless he did some rather heavy duty mods I can't realy see those kinds of engine stats being given, I have yet to email him back about this though, so anything else you can think that I should ask him about the car would be greatly Appreciated
Also i was wondering what you guys think about how much he's asking, thats $3700 CAD so around $2300 USD.

Thanks in Advance

Body looks great when buffed up, yet it has rust bubbles? Funny. I'd worry about the radiator leaking...the engine is already leaking? I'd ask for proof on the rebuild. Check out the VIN too if ya can.

He had more bad to say about th ecar than good. That is a bad sign to me. If it has rust on one corner or side of the car that could be an indication of previous damage repair. If its rusting it needs repaired. If you have to add fluid to the brakes it will only get worse. If you have to double clutch on a 2nd gear down shift, then it will need work. If, if, if,......

Thats alot of if's.

Such a small world, that would be great if you could do that scathcart, I'd realy appreciate it. I live up in the Caribou so going and checking out the car myself is kind of out of the question, about 7+ hours out of the question, but if you could go check it out and post back with some info about it that would be awsome, thanks, also if you spot any other TII's down there worth a second look could you drop me a line?

Thanks a bunch

Alright, cool. I've got a good grasp on TII's, so I will be able to tell you everythin yu need to know.
I'll spin her by a bodyshop too if I can, I always do that with used cars. They can tell you frame condition, accident history, etc. just by looking at it.
