Brownish red fluid

Found a small puddle of brownish red liquid under the midsection of my car.............what is it and where could it be coming from? Seems to look like either ATF or brake fluid.......but should that be coming from a mid engine area?

It doesnt say anything on the page but if its an automatic its more than likely either the front or rear seal on the transmission or the pan gasket...that is if its ATF
