broken. oil injection lines

hey like all after rebuilding the engin we broke off 2 of the injector lines. right at the injectors. We got the to kinda slide over again but i dont know if they will stay there without the clamp?? how much psi is going threw there?

also can i just try to find some replacment lines for that? cause we have to get this done asap and not wait for oem ones to show up.

i know its kinda getho but can i just use any type or flexable tubing for now? and buy some lil clamps. or are the lines "special"in that way and neeed to be that exact size and all.

has anybody done this and what did ya use.
thanks it has to go to the exhaust shop in 2 days!!!!

Since these are so important I would not do anything to risk the rotors not getting oil. You could ruin your rebuild in about 10 minutes of running with no oil. Two options... go the premix route and eliminate them all together. Wait a couple of days and get the replacements.

do NOT drive the car with those broken. Replace them or change over to pre-mix. Search under my name and pre-mix you will find the write-up and it will eplain a lot to you.

k if we went to premix can you go back after? and can we still run the lines witht he chance of them not working and premix the first bit for some added insurance? or would that be way to much oil. we just need to start it and get her running than get down to the exhaust shop.

once you go pre-mix you can go back but I don't really want to go back it doesn't bother me that I am lubricting better, saving money, and reducing the carbon build up in my engine.

I have no clue which one goes to which injector. Check out the FSM you can probably find out with the pics in that.

Pre-mixing is one of the best things I have done to my car. I don't regret it at all. In your case I would recomend going to full pre-mix based on my personal experience with it and what information I have seen and read. The 787B race car used pre-mix and that is enough to convince me of its worth in every Rotary powered car.

If you want to hook up your MOP up and still pre-mix just add around 6-10oz instead of all 16oz per full tank.
