Everybody,
My 1987 TII has a broken front diff mount, I was inquiring about how hard, how long and what will i get out of the new competition hard rubber mount? This is my first forum so maybe you guy's can help me out?

Its not really that hard, Everybody makes it up to be something its not. A basic socket set and a breaker bar, if you have no airtools, its pretty basic. just remember were everything goes and you'll be ok,
I would not buy a harder comp mount, or a new mount at that, get one from a junkyard, and weld it solid. No real difference, just doesn't break as fast.

Well, I kinda already got the comp mount so ill see how it holds up, but I need a 13BT engine before it goes anywhere, or i rebuild the old one. If you weld one, couldn't that be hard on the Diff. or the tranny? Probably strong enough... yea im going to try and do it this weekend. hopefully the weather is nice.
