i was just wondering what everyone with broken defroster grilles have done about them? mine broke when i took off my dash and i don't want to pay $25 a pop at the dealer or mazdatrix, especially since i don't have a heater. and whenever i find them used, they either break when taking them out or are already broken.

 

If you don't need them, then make an acrylic plug and paint to match.

 

everyone either drives around with broken grills or a wallet lighter by $25 x # of previously broken grills.
