Well, first off, last night i had my christmas lights stolen off my walk way. It could have been my car...

The factory car alarm used to work, but lately it hasn't. The security light doesn't flash, or anything. The alarm doesnt go off. The open door beeper still works but the 'lights on' beeper ceased to work.

Is this a common problem? Invest in a new alarm? Buy a blinking light?

Heh. My light blinks but I cant get it to go off.

 

Fix the door/hatch key switchs and buy a new security system

 

my light flashes.. i got the alarm to go off once b/c i put the wrong key in the door.. DO'H!! but thats the only time i got it to go off and the harder i try nothing happens.. WTF??

Are either of you sure you are arming the alarm correctly???

Locking the doors with the latch lever inside the car after the ign key has been turned off... and holding the outside door handles up while closing???

How can I unhook the horn on my alarm?? It goes off for no reason! It drives me nuts! There seems to be 2 different horns on my car on at hood latch and one on cross brace at oil cooler.

 

Yea... im sure i am arming it correctly. WHen i have the passanger door open, then lock it from the inside, it starts beeping, but the security light still doesnt come on, or blink.
