Broken Bolt
While tightening the left Bolt above the thermostat, The top half decided to snap right off like butter, how screwed am I? and is it even possible to tap and die in such a awkward area.
is it one of the 3 thermostat bolts? if so, very common break. one broke on me on my gxl, and a bolt extractor worked for me. i used a craftsman set. always replace those bolts when you change your t-stat
