broken bolt

broken bolt

hey guys, i accidently broke the bolt that connects the uim to the lim, its the long bolt, i have recently been having a problem ever since i broke that bolt, i cant get the car started, does it act like a ground or something, do i need to replace it?

All it is is a bolt meant to hold the manifolds together. I suppose you could have a vac leak now with that bolt broken/missing, but I'm going to doubt it's big enough to cause a no start. Replace it when you have time, but it is not the cause of the car not starting, your problem most likely lies somewhere else.

What did you do besides braking the bolt? Just think of everything you disconnected then go back over all of it.
