Bright White Paint!
Anyone know the paint codes (any make or model car) for a really bright white color? Eventually I'm gonna get my whole car painted a brighter white, but for now I'm just gonna do the engine bay while everything is out. I was thinking that white from the MKIV Supra, but I dunno the paint code. Anyone care to help me out with that one or others?

A really nice white is available from nissan from the 300ZXTT. It's not a bright white like the Type R but a very nice color for a factory car...it has a TON of pearl in the paint and has a terrific luster. If I remember correctly, the 88 AE monochrome white is a very white white, and very bright...jeez, that sounds like a Dr. Suess poem

No Championship White on the ITR and NSX are the same, but championship white only came out on the NSX-R I believe. I think the US Spec NSX's had Grand Prix white and one other shade of white, too lazy to check right now

Chaste white means pure white so maybe that helps It is real basic, bright white
I really like Alpine white, a BMW color, but it has a cream tone to it. I like the cream tone actually
Also, try contacting or calling a bodyshop. They should have a huge book full of colors and stuff. They should def. be able to help you out with a specific tone of color

fellas....if u want jsut WHITE. then pick ur particular brand, i.e. ppg, dupont, etc. and just order WHITE . All other whites, as in car colors are like 99% white, with a touch of other colors added. Mainly slight blues, reds, or yellows to give it a different tint. That is why it isnt as "white" as u would like. So i hope that helps. I wouldnt worry bout picking a particular white from a car, but jsut gettin plain ole white basecoat itself.
thanks, ut
