Get the cheaper of the two. $10 buys a few beers.
The best option would be to get neither slotted or x-drilled, but to get solid rotors as they perform the best and last the longest while providing the best wear factor on the pads also.
But they don't have the bling factor....

Yeah, what he said. After a long conversation with a guy at carbotech I went for normal rotors after I blew up my old ones. Slotted rotors can be useful for scraping a fresh surface onto glazed pads, but if you choose the right pad for your application they shouldn't glaze in the first place.
I would go with the Bonez Slotted Rotors available on rx7.com, they are more resistant to cracking supposedely beacuse the slots don't go all the way to the ends of the rotor. But they are pretty expensive.
Solid is best unless you need some bling.

Try KVRs. They are good, and not too expensive.
corksport.com has them, and I think you might be able to get them from KVR directly, since CS has been known to take their time inthe shipping dept.

i know that solids are better hands down for a tracked car, but most likely all my car will ever see is a few quick dashes to work.........adn maybe a few runs down the strip. so i decided on a set of slotted rotorsits not that i dont trust xdrilled, its just.........well no thats it i think.
