Break Booster Vacuum Fitting S5 Turbo

The Banjo bolt for the brake booster vacuum fitting on the upper intake manifold is damaged and I need to replace it. I can't find anyone who carries the banjo fitting.

it's a M10 x 1.25 35mm banjo, are there any places online/etc that I can get them? Tried the shops around town, Napa/Advance/O'rielly's/Fastener Specialty store, they only have 1.5 thread pitch. Mazda wasn't even sure if they could get it, because it wasn't on their diagram. I have a JDM S5 Swap.

If I can't find a suitable banjo bolt, I can use a hose barb with the correct metric male thread or can I safely re-tap the manifold to M10x1.5?

Your Booster just needs vacuum..and it really doesn't matter what the Connection looks like,as long as it performs it's job.
I had to put another Banjo bolt on my Engine,as it was too Curved and didn't fit where my Hoses were routed.
If you feel you can tap a hose barb in there,go ahead.
You could also find another source of Vacuum too.

only problem with finding another source is that all the others will be the small 1/4 in rather than the 1/2 size vacuum nipples. just google it, there are companies online for everything
