I believe you can buy a crate motor, but the best idea would be to just find a local rebuilder and buy new rotors, housings, etc.

I dont think they'd sell "new" engines, maybe rebuilt like Terrh said your best bet is to find a local rebuilder and get new parts

The only rotary engine Mazda is producing now is the Renesis, and that ain't droppin' in an FC anytime soon .

The remans are actually of exceptional quality - lots of new parts, everything built to very close tolerances...they're really good, and a good deal for the money.

If you want a truly new engine, be prepared to pay for it - irons, rotors, and rotor housings new get expensive REAL quick.

asked because im paranoid many things in engine might be fucked and dont want to reuse components.Over revved engine past 8k,was sittin at redline needle for quite some time and im lucky rear end never gave out.It was a reman engine that has 20,000km.I might as get a high hp engine now, since i need a engine to handle 350-400rwp.Also will be getting a stand alone.I will make decision from here, either i rebuild with a fellow rx7'er who has experience and get advice from this board or send it for rebuild to most likely pineapple.Thank you for guidance. Also will give any updates.
s5 13bt engine.
