Impact gun or breaker bar. From my experiences they weren't on that tightly.

I had a little trouble getting these screws out too, Some PBblaster or WD-40 will probably loosen them up but don't get it on the rotor. Also using a hefty screw driver and hitting the screws with a hammer will loosen them up. All that brake dust and road dirt over the years really ***** with these screws.

If you get tired of mucking around with them.....drill the heads off, remove the rotor, and the remainder of the screw will just screw out with finger pressure. Buy two new ones. Don't let the screw waste your time.

Impact driver(the kind you hit with a hammer) and a 2 lb sledge.

Hailers, Ive had to do it your way a few times.....I broke one of the bits with my impact driver. I guess that screw was a litle stuck... But after I drilled the head of, it came right out.

when i worked in a brake/muffler shop we had to deal with these things on a daily basis, and in IL it snows, and they salt the roads, so it was absolutely nasty. by far the quickest way we had was heat the head with an oxy-ascetaline torch for a few seconds, take your large screwdriver and seat it in the ehad, wack it with a hammer a couple times so it gets deep in there and turn. works every time.

mine were on tighter than a tight thing that's tight...and i had no impact wrench . i stuck a metrinch wrench on there (so i wouldnt strip anything) and then wacked it with a mallet a bunch of times. worked like a charm .

edit: hey just noticed you said "screw." do you mean the one little screw that is in the rotor holding it seated? i think everyones answer was pertaining to removing the bolts that hold on the calipers. for the screw i used the biggest screwdriver that would fit so i wouldn't strip the screws and just worked on it until i got them off .

Also, instead of WD40 spend the $5 and buy yourself a can of "Liquid Wrench". That stuff penetrates and unseizes bolts/screws mad quick y0.

Big-*** screw driver that fits nicely that won't strip it, and nice heavy hammer, hammer the screw driver about 10 times, attempt to turn, apply inward pressure while turning as well, if it won't go, hit it another 10 times, and it'll eventually go

Go to the gym, workout really hard for a few months and build up your arms and chest, then go back and try again

I'm with HAILERS. Drill it out. Takes about 3 seconds.
