Unhappy brakes ruined radio...?

ok so i was driving with my friend today showing off my car cause i just got it and....i slammed on the brakes to test the rotora vented cross drilled rotors, and metallic ceramic pads, and also to see if i had ABS...(NO) and all of a sudden my from speaker under the passenger side of the dash started making a high pitch whine noise. it matched the RPM's of the car every time it revved, and i had to turn my radio off. my friend took it apart accidentally shorted something and the fuse blew so now i have no radio until tomorrow when i fix it... what would cause the whine noise to match the cars RPM's?

-Matt

Also...i killed some honda on the highway today even though my clutch slips in 3rd through 5th...

Some speaker wiring shifted somewhere, towards an ignition component?

Noise filter for the speaker channel (if there even is one) fritzed out?

Heck, I could guess forever, lol...

You have a speaker short. It just happened while your friend was driving.

Probably have a poorlly mounted aftermarket radio, amplifier, or speaker.
