Ok here's the scoop: I've got an 87 base 4-lug that I'm converting to 5-lug with all the stuff off my GXL parts biatch. I'm unclear as to the differences in rotors. I found a good deal on rotors at nopionline.com but all it says is

Vented Rotor L/R Front ALL 5lug Mdls.(inc Turbo)

Are the rotors the same for turbo/GXL 4-piston? I thought the 4-piston had bigger rotors.....

Should the calipers work fine with the existing brake lines?

 

Yes. Turbos and GXLs shared the same rotors 10.9", so you got the right ones.

Calipers should work fine with existing brake lines, but you need the hardlines off the GXL calipers.

 

Thanks man. I'm also wondering about vented/non-vented in the rear. Does it matter which I do?

 

yes, because non vented = 4 lug.. And your car would look a little funny with 4 lug wheels on the back and 5 on the front
