brakes keep sweaking need help

i bought my car about 1year ago and ever since the brakes have always been sweaking. i have checked the pads and they are all fine.

also the hand brake does disengadge(spelling) i have to push it down. in all of my other rx7's, once you push the little button in the brake pulls down. is it possible that the hand brake might not be completely disengagding all the way. what could be the problem

thanks guys

Could be the type of pad, as some are metallic and make noise themselves. what happens if you hit the button and pull up a little bit, does the pull it down by itself then? If not i'd have someone check the e-brake levers on the rear calipers to make sure they're releasing, would suck to have the ebrake locked on your rears!

I always say WD-40 will fix any squeak.

PS: I hope I dont have to tell you not to take that seriously.

When slowing down and the sound is evident, push on the brakes a little harder and chances are the noise will stop. The pads move slightly under light pressure causing the noise. Apply anti squeal lubricant to the back of the pads. Between the caliper pistons and pad backing.
