Exclamation brakes, and brake lights

replaced my front calipers and now i have very very little brake pressure, bled the brakes for quite a while gave up becuase it was to cold had shop bleed brakes, they used an auto bleeder, i am not to familar with these, are they trust worthy? becuase i made the guy do it twice and both times more air came out.. the shop seems to think its a bad brake master cylinder... to me it seems more like air in lines, also when u press on brakes repeatedly the idle get somewhat erratic which leads me to believe there is a vacume leak possibly in the brake booster? but that would cause a stiff pedal?

also from the constant bleeding the brake lights no longer work, not sure if its the brake light switch or the cpu.. i took the connector of the brake light switch and tested it with a test light, i am getting power on only one of the wires, not sure if i am suppose to get it on both or not, seems like it should only be one wire to me becuase the switch would create a circuit and thus feeding the power from the hot wire to the cold wire when brakes are pressed thus making both wires hot??

any imput on both problems?

Yes, that is correct.
If you were to jumper the two wires together, the brakes lights should come on.
Assuming they do, it would indicate that the switch was bad.

A real hard brake pedal with the engine running could mean the brake booster diaphragm is bad or the vacuum feed line is bad or?????? I assume that is what you meant by stiff pedal. That part isn't clear.
