brake swap
ok i have everything i need to do this swap, and i desperately need it.
i have:
(2) 4 piston calipers
(2) single piston calipers
(4) powerslot rotors (front and rear)
set of racing beat stainless brake lines
lots of brake fluid
my only question is... i have single piston all around on my 89 gtu. will the 4 pistons bolt right up? as far as i have heard, they will, but i want to be sure before i start ripping things off the car. its my daily driver.
oh yea for some reason i have 5 lugs... i didnt think that was stock so someone must have done it in the past.
please, anyone who has done this swap, please let me know if it works... thanks

Just did the swap a few days ago, direct bolt on. As far as your car being a 5 lug...that sounds right...I'm pretty sure no one did a 4 to 5 lug conversion on it. The only thing that is different from the turbo ( 4 piston calipers) to the n/a ( 1 piston) is the master cylinder. But it should all work out fine...good luck...
