Brake suggestions.
Anybody have experience with Corksport's KVR Cross drilled front rotor set? I might get some for the rear too just to look kool when I get rims.

I am gonna stick with stock calipers because they are
MORE than suffiecient in their job.
Now, I need to find pads that don't eat the **** out of the rotors, but are hard to fade on canyons. any ideas??? I don't mind changing front pads every 6 months.

it isn't that much extra for cross drilled. but you are right. I'll check into the SS lines too. =)
I am running hawk blacks in the front and they are a bit harsh on the rotors.

Is that for stock rotors? I have decided thats what I want but want them coated in whatever or whatever someone mentioned to stop them from rusting. Do you know where they sell our rotors like that already? Thanks alot.

Awe man. not this BS again. PErformance is basically the same. They just look good with some nice 5 smoke rims. and make cool noises when you slow down. =)
Heat cracks? ok. whatever. I'll replace them if I get heat cracks ever.
Ok, now the COOL FACTOR.... Well, you can have a high COOL FACOTR if you have GREAT PERFORMANCE at the same time. That is my intention, not to cut down my 7's performance.
COOL FACTOR = being cool looking

Hey, if it's the street, chances are, you'll be just fine.
If you're going to the track however.......
Those are rotors off my Trans Am that I killed after two days of racing at Thunderhill.
Granted, the TA is heavier, but those cracks formed right where the slots were cut.

Lives on the Forum
If you got the money, I'd spring for some Performance Friction 83/90/93 brake pads.  If you're going to trust your life to your brakes, this is about as good as it gets.  Performance is as good or better than the Hawk HPS pads, but they last 2-3 times longer...
