brake power booster question

Exclamation brake power booster question

ok i have a s5 t2 motor in a s4 gxl shell and i have the brake power booster line connected to a vacum line on the uim is this correct and if not please let me know how to run this line properly i am also running a microtech too if that helps thanks

This will work fine, but you need the check valve. Make sure you have this IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!

The check valve prevents turbo boost from backing up into the brake booster and making the pedal harder to press. Granted, you are usually not under boost when you are using the brakes, but the check valve is still important.

On a stock engine, the brake booster vacuum line connects behind the BAC valve and the ACV.

Another purpose for the check valve is to keep pressure in the booster in case the engine shuts off. So if you have a vacuum leak and the engine shuts off while you're entering an intersection you don't rear end someone because you have no brake pedal
