brake pistons?

i have an 87 rx-7 non-turbo 13b and i need new brake pads and auto zone asked about how many brake pistons do i have can someone hlep me?????

Do you know what model you have? GXL, GTU, base, sport? (5 lug, spoiler, sunroof was optional, non-power windows)

4 lug or 5 lug wheels?

4 lug wheels in 87 used single piston brakes, while 5 lug wheels used 4 piston brakes.
