Brake Pad Install

I have searched and I could not find any info on how to install the pads

\I have the caliper swiveled up so you can drop the pads in but I may be missing something cause to me it seems if you just drop the pads in they will rub against the rotor

anybody got some info or pics?

Thanks alot
Zach

maybe u should try to push the piston back in so that can give u more space when u put the pads in and won't rub against the rotors

The pads will touch the rotors when you put on replacements. Make sure you retrat the pistons as far back into the caliper as you can before putting on the pads.

First you have to open the brake fluid reservior and remove some of the fluid. Otherwise when you push the pistons back either the cap will hold the pressure you create and the pistons wont move, or it'll **** brake fliud all over you paint!

They make a tool for this and sell it at auto parts stores. IT is very cheap and very worth it.
