Brake Master leaking between reservoir and the Master

I just put on a NEW master cylinder from Napa, however the fluid is weeping out through where the reservoir goes into the master cylinder. Is there somthing special you are suppose to do when putting the reservoir into the master...? I just plugged it in there and everything works but now I have to check on the fluid all the time. Is this master defective or did I do somthing wrong?
Thanks

There are two rubber seals (they look like bushings) that seal the reservoir to the master cylinder. Did you get the whole assembly (res and cyl) or just the cylinder, and have to reuse your old res? If you reused the old res, you should change the seals. They're available at the Mazda dealer for just a few bucks.
