Brake lights stopped working...
Hey all I have a simple question but cannot really search b/c I am at work and am not even supposed to be on the forum... Anyway, my brake lights stopped working... Is this problem with a fuse? If so, is it the 20A fuse to the bottom left listed in the FAQ which is titled STOP? Thanks for any input...

Oh, and just to know, all of my idiot lights and my night-time running lights work ok... Its only my brake lights that arent engaging when I press the brakes which is scary trying to drive around in Miami.... I almost got hit a few times already.... lol...

See the jpgs attached. You step on the pedal and make the switch. The power passes from the STOP fuse to the CPU. Passes thru the CPU (hopefully) and then goes to the stop lights.
Could be the switch. Could be the CPU. Unplug the switch and jumper across the tow contacts in the switch. Stop lights should come on if the fuse is good and IF the CPU is good and IF the stop lights themselves are good. IF they do come on when you do this, then the switch is kaput.

Thanks guys... I got it resolved... The switch was good and the fuse was good, but the wires were oxidized... Anyway, its running good now... Today I got alot accomplished... I fixed the back lights, changed the driveshaft, rear d-mount, and tranny mount. Also, I installed the block off kit from banzai... Now the car is running good and idling at 900rpm... I love the way she purrs... I will be parking my 6 and driving the 7 next week...
Thanks for the support...

Yeap... I know, I have the FSM also... But seeing how I removed all that crap, it was hard to get a steady idle at that speed. For my car, 900 seems to be the sweet spot... It wont hurt anything and the extra gas that it'll burn is unnoticeable... But thanks for the advise...
