my brake lights started acting funny after i swapped to the s5 taillights. it lights up when i turn on the headlights. turn signals work and everythign. but it doesnt light up when i step on the brakes. i tried swapping the old s4 bulb harness and it still didnt work. i checked the fuse for ILLUM and STOP and they werent blown or anything. not sure what to do now. any suggestions?? thanks

Ah. This might seem dumb, but did you check the bulbs themselves? I'm assuming they're double filament...

 

yea i did. it seemed fine. i also tried swapping to the original bulb harness but it didnt work neither.
