My brake lights don't work!! i tried checking the fuses, light bulbs, and i even bought a new light switch for under the dash. i almost got rear ended and figured out the brake lights dont work. is there anything i missed to check?

Download a Factory Service Manual. That and buy a Haynes manual and search. These should resolve 95% of the problems like this.
