im intalling my turbo engine into my vert. and the turbo that on it right now is ****. i have the option of either installing my old s4 turbo which only in fair condition. OR i have this turbonetics turbo that i bought for 200 which it like the ecuivalent to a stage 2 or so. ill take some pics of it when i get the chance. theres no reason that it shouldnt be in good shape. there is very little shaft play.alright so i am buying this turbo for 200 bucks BUT i have to have the engine in the car this week and i need to make a decision about what im going to do with the turbo. i have a 550/720 setup with a walbro 255 and an safc with some more. i want to go 720/1000 with an rtek 2.0 and a wideband. so what should i do? intall this turbonetics turbo and just not boost past like 5psi?? so my question is. is it safe for me to run this turbo till i install the 2.0 and the 1000cc injectors.

Sure - Just connect the waste gate actuator hose directly to the compressor to hold down boost until you're ready to tune it.

okay, i got the turbo, its the knightsports hybrid turbo that uses turbonetics parts. i have been told that it makes 320whp? anyone run the 550/720 setup with this?
