Brake idiot light

Hey guys,
I just got an engine rebuild last week, i dont drive the car in the winter, but i have had no choice for the past week. It's been unusually cold. Anyways, since the rebuild, the (!) (brake) light comes on when i first start the car. Once the car warms up for like 5-10 minutes, the light goes out. What the hell is going on? The parking brake is down, i've tried pumping the brakes a couple hundred times, and still nothing. It seems to be affected by weather. Is it a sensor? Thanks for the advice.

Low fluid in the brake reservior. Leaking out the bottom of the plastic reservior. Fill same to the top.

I bet the brake fliud is cold, and the floater in the resivor is sticking or somethin. Mine will do the same thing now, and the light goes out, and the resivour is full. Only a guess...

Next time, get out of the car immediatly and rap on the brake master cylinder reservior. If the lite goes out right away maybe its related. If not, then?????????????????????????????????????????
