the two are the same thing as in how to use it and the tools needed, just one is sand and the other is glass bead. they are just used for different applications. u may have steel shot, steel grit, or coal? if its coal or grit, u prob wont want to use it. they are harsher cutting materials. however, if u have steel shot, i would think that would work. im not sure though...because shot is usually a lot bigger than bead.
