brake help plz

trying to change my brake pads today... but i cant push the caliper in...it says to use a needle nose and turn clockwise...but it refuses to go down...help please

I assume you're talking about the rear pads - turn the caliper clockwise using the needle nose pliers and it will go back in.

go down to your local auto parts store(lika a Pep Boys,Auto Zone,NAPA)..ask them for a Brake block tool.It is a Small cube like "thing" with Dimples that Stick out of it.The Tool itself has a Hole that you use to Put it on an a Regular socket Wrench Extension...Those Dimples that Come out of the Block,go into the little holes on the Face of the Piston,and you use your Rachet to turn the Block/Piston inwards.The price of the Block is relatively Cheap..like 4-5 Bucks...You will never be able to Squeeze the Pistons IN on the Rear Caliper with a Pair of Slip Joint Pliers..Unlike the Front Caliper.("Major "misconception"),as the Pistons Screw in and out On the Rears.
