brake calipers for 2 gens

hey guys do you guys know if the calipers change withing the years of the 2 gen production because i am about to buy 86 gxl calipers i need to know if they are the same as the turbo 2 model calipers i think they are 4 piston

Yes they are the same. The GXL came with the 4 pistons up front.
