Brake booster air leak Hisss

91 n/a
I've been hearing an air leak coming from the driver side of the engine. I finally found out that the bottom of the master cylinder was leaking air slowly when I shut the car off. I detached the master cylinder from the booster and the booster is actually leaking a little bit of air, is this normal or should I replace it soon?

Vacuum systems (like your booster) rarely work well when they leak.

booster is bad. at some point you will want to have it rebuilt or upgrade to something else.

i say rebuilt because every autoparts chain lists a booster, but the chances of them having one are near zero.

rebuilding it is cheap, i paid $80 for mine.
