braided fuel line on stock rail

I removed my rats nest and i wanted to get some nice braided fuel line and i went to buy it and the guy said that i wouldnt be able to clamp it tight enought so i had to get some cheap rubber fuel line so my question is has anyone ever used braided fuel line with hose clamps on the stock fuel rail? and have you had any problems? this is going on an 87 na

When I rebuild my 88GTU I replaced all fuel lines with braided. I used the screw type hose clamps. Have had zero problems. Have about 25K+ miles on the rebuild. Just make sure you tighten the clamps good.

i used it on a few cars with no issues, get SAE size line as the An size lines are way overpriced.

I bought 6 and 8 AN. I also replaced coolant hose at the same time.
