You just name the pillars from front to rear alphabetically. Our cars have 2 pillars = a + b.

but isnt the rear pillar always called a c pillar in sedans and coupes?

I swore remembering that in coupes even though there isnt a B pillar, the last pillar is always C.

your all actually misinformed moose knuckles. OP is talking about those stupid bolt in bars the are down on floor level and bolt in on both sides and go up over the tranny hump.

are you talking about a Do-Luck Rear Cross Bar? bolts up behind the seats, at the seat belt anchor, across the floor.
check out mvpmotorsports.com they have them for the fc there

this is what your looking for?
and on a supra you can tell the difference when you have the targa out. they say takes out 80% of the flex we have.
but the fc does not have a removable top so not much flex anyway

The FC has alot of flex in the mid section thanks to the huge door opening that extend into the roof.

And 80% seems abit much...

that bar isn't going to do anything :-P it's not worth it.

if you really want to reduce flex that bad, get a roll bar.

and also, B pillars are only for sedans (and some coupes depending on how they're layed out). our cars only have A and C pillars. look it up. SUVs and wagons have D pillars too.

Really the only ways to stiffen a structure are: thicker steel or triangulation.

That bar doesn't really do either.

I am assuming that your talking the floor bar / Do-luck's rear cross bar.

For myself, I never felt a floorbar make any difference in an FC. However the Do-luck floor bar for the R32 felt phenominal in harder racing applications.

http://www.nengun.com/do-luck/rear-cross-bar
"Designed to stiffen the middle of the chassis. Upper strut bars stiffen the front and back of the car but the middle of the car can still twist, the Rear Cross Bar helps to eliminate this twisting."

sounds like snake oil to me.
