BOV too loud!!

sure it sounds cool but my greddy type-S is too loud, so much for a sleeper, scares away the ricers from a race, anyone know of a quieter BOV, maybe in the "rattlesnake" sound?

Nice reason for a quiter BOV

With mine, I just install the silencer, and I'm good to go

In most cases, at least on my old talon, if you hear a *rattlesnake* noise that normally means your BOV is too tight and you're getting compressor surge. I thought this was normal till I tried my roomates slightly less *crushed* bov (mind you, we're using stock 1gen DSM bov that have been crushed to prevent leaking) and it sounded like a regular bov.

Plumb the BOV outlet back into the intake...
The GReddy Type-S BOV has a threaded inner, and GReddy offers different sized adapters for it.

I would not recommend cranking the tension adjustment stud down - this can cause compressor surge which will damage the turbo - although it will supress the noise somewhat.
