better vac source for sure. ive got the type rs (ya, the loud one ) and it wouldnt open when connected to any vac line on the TB. but works fine off the uim. try some different loactions.

Can you please show me where your vacume source is? What is the uim?

best sources for blowoff valve vacuum imo:

the lowest nipple on the front of the UIM (upper intake manifold). Out of the four nipples on the front (3 on some cars, I think it depends on the year), hook up the line to the bottom one. And make sure it is really tight on there. Use a tiny hose clamp if you can to prevent boost leaks. I actually have a 3/16" line for my GM 3 bar pressure sensor connected to that nipple with a small hose clamp.

Another option is to drill and tap the ACV (air control valve) blockoff plate if you have it removed. That's where I currently have mine hooked up. It used to compressor surge before under light load when it was hooked to that small nipple on the side of the UIM where the stock pressure sensor is hooked into.

I must be a bit slow but can you post a pic of the 3 or 4 nipples you are talking about? Also maby it could help if I could see how yours is setup.

Well I tryed all three nipples and none of them put any air to the blow off valve. for some reason the only place i can get it to work is off of my original place on the uim Any ideas?
