some people say that when you block off the acv then you should tap in so that you can still have the pressure sensor working is this true..i did all the block off plates with the exception of the bac and omp because i want to keep it a streetable/able to idle by itself. thoughts on this pressure sensor/acv blockoff delimia

You would want to do this if you needed another source of vac. Do you need another source?

Also in the attachment: If you remove this part the blue cap with the ziptie is a nice source of vac.

search (230775) That will give you a vac setup.

Your pressure sensor needs a orifice in the vac line. To answer your last post YES

It is true that you must reconnect the MAP sensor to the manifold somehow, but installing a nipple on the block-off plate is just one way to do this (IMO the best way). The easiest and most common way is to tee into another vac line, usually the nearby BOV line.

Not a dilemma, just a simple decision.

There are three possible locations for a nipple on a ACV blockoff plate. Like the ones shown in the attached jpg. Please ignore the wallered out attach hole on the plate.
