bov question (high and low boost)

I was driving down the road and began to wounder how the bov works as far as if you have an ebc and you set it for lets say 10psi of boost as your low setting and 15psi of boost for your high setting. Now that you have your ebc set what would you set your bov for??? If you set your bov for 15psi then it wouldn't open up at 10psi however if you set it for 10psi it would leak air anything past 10psi. I only have a mbc but it's set at 15psi however sometimes I don't boost that high unless really stomping on it so I was wondering if the bov is doing it's job at the lower boost??? Thanks.

Read up on how a BOV works. It isn't set at any boost. It simply opens when the manifold pressure drops lower than the pressure in the intercooler and vents the pressure.

The screw is there to adjust it so that it does not open while under boost when the manifold pressure is equal to the pressure at the turbo. Basically keeps it from leaking under boost. I believe that screw can also be set to prevent flutter.
