BOV and MBC install need help
I was curious if anyone had some pics of a BOV/MBC install. I am looking into getting both of these shortly and just wanted to check out a few quick writeups. I am trying to figure out the best way to mount the bov.
Thanks guys also which MBC do you guys prefer?
P.S. this is going on an 87 TII

Also I installed a maf adapter today to install a 3" air filter. The install went great and it looks awesome but what do I do with that one pipe that attaches to the actual air box? Can I leave it open or do I have to figure out a way to get a filter to it?

That hose is coming from the air pump. You can either buy a mini-breather (filter) and attach it to it, or you can removes the air pump and all other emissions. As you are a T2..I recommend just removing the airpump, as you do not have AUX ports to open. Who keeps emissions nowadays anyway?

I hope a good look at the air pump makes it self explanatory, especially if you are doing your FMIC, an air pump should be a breeze.
As far as mounting your BOV. well if it is stock it goes in place of the ABV with some custom fitting work, or a kit. If you are doing FMIC it goes wherever you please on the IC pipe.
The MBC goes from the compressor housing nipple to the waste gate. You can mount it where you please or let it dangle tightly inline with the stock hose.
