BOV location

I finally ordered a BOV, and I'm planning on replacing it with the stock one. I went with a $60 bov located on eBay. It should fit perfectly, but the only problem is I don't know where the by pass valve is located on an 88 TII. I'm new to the entire rotary scene.

Old thread:

Does anyone have a picture of where the stock by pass valve is located so I can do a swap? A picture would help greatly. Thanks.

I wish I still had my digi cam but here's a link to ilike2eatricers site. should give you an idea where it is.

But the best explanation I can give you is, take a look at your intercooler, on the front of it closer to the passenger side, there is a rubber hose coming off the intercooler with a 90 degree bend. The PIPE under that hose, is your BOV pipe. From that pipe, there is a small hose going to your BAC and well another hose going to your stock BOV going into your intake.

how do you know it'll fit perfectly if you don't even know where the stock one is

the "rx7 kits" are like $300. the universal ones will take some custom work to get them to work.

Well if you read my old thread, the nipple of the hose is the same diameter size of the bov. Also, a couple of other people did the same exact thing, so I just followed it.
