Bov Help
Ok I just did a TII swap into my 86 rx7. I just learned that I don't think I have a BOV. Can I still use the car even though I don't have one? Can I also get some help on how to connect a BOV to the pipe leading up to the intercooler, I have seen it done I just don't know how to do it... This is my first time doing this so yeha I need help....

You can run without it, if you seal up all the vacuum leaks. Unfortunatly, without either, you run the risk of damaging your turbocharger if you boost it alot and let off the throttle hard.

as long as you dont bring the rpms up really high and let off quickly (many times) then you should be ok.... as vipers said you have to at least have a stock bypass valve...if you dont have one then the car wont run...it will turn over and then if it even starts it will shut right off due to the boost leaks off the intercooler pipes...... the BOV i have might be a bit too hard too install.......but i can send you a pic and see what you can do with it
