bought new tii need help!
i just bought a new 87 fc turbo. the motor is new and is streetported. The body is really crappy. I know a little about the rotary motors but not to much. this is my first 7. well i was taking a look in the motor and knotice that the o2 sensor wire is cut. i tried looking for the other end of it but i couldent find it. I looked up on a wiring diagram and found that the wire color is grey all the way to the computer. So i looked into the wiring harness because all of the wrap on it is cracked and broken to try and trace the wire from there. i was looking at the harness that leads into the fire wall right near the charchol chanister. Also i was wondering where the computer is located. This is kind of off subject but i bought the car. it is streetported, greedy bov, hks air filter, bigger secoandary injectors "what cc i dont know", 3" down pipe and some kind of aftermarket mufflers. well when i was driving it home hy friend that was behind me said that it shot flames. only when decelerating. do i need cats for back preasure of dose the turbo provide enough. i am ne to the rotary thing but can preaty do anything with a piston motor. thatks for your help

The 02 wire should be black and have a large orane clip if it is in stock form it is in the back of the motor under the UIM right in the midle if you dont see it try pulling the UIM off. It is a lil dificult to pull off on a TII compared to NA.
The ECU is under the carpet on passenger floar board under a metal cover plate.
All RX-7 when they open the exhoust shoot flames. The street port addds to it.
No do not wory about back presure in a TII. Your setup is not neer to agressive to have 0 back presure.
