Thumbs up borla xr-1

you need one of these, they completely rock. i just got one with a 16 in case welded in place of my corksport testpipe it makes so much of a difference its not even funny. it was my original plan to post a sound clip before and after but i have no camera. this post is for anyone who is undecided about buying one, DO IT. that is all.

Yeah you can't crack the racing beat slaves around here. Congrats on the borla + corksport. I had the same setup and it sounded better than a ferrari. I was in a parking garrage in b-more and that exhaust was ripping down through the levels freaking everyone out. Lots of weird looks, like oh I thought that was a different car........hahaha

I've got one where the cat went on my SSAC Single tip exhaust. Its very nice and it doesn't drone nearly as much as it used to. Great choice. Although sometimes I think I see some of the packing blowing out on fire from my exhaust when it shoots flames.

You guys should hear a full bridge through an XR-1 and Corksport catback.

Yes, the Borla rocks.

IMHO its a matter of time before the SSAC packing on the muffler burns up; when it happens, it will be replaced with a similar magnaflow round muffler

Or change it up a little and use a borla\magnaflow oval on the end with a turn down tip for a real scary deep sound

i have the SSAC and soon i will probably dump the stock fart can at the end of the exhaust since it literally does nothing and place another 16" XR1 back there. right now it is quiet but after that with a turn down it may actually look close enough to stock to not worry about tickets anymore, i love the sound though.
