I have one on my 90 convertible. I bought it from summit racing for a lot less than anyone elses prices. plus summit charges all of $6 for shipping.

With the top down it is excellent. It takes away some of the low end grunt but puts whatever it takes away from the low in the high end with interest. makes the car feel squirtier.

with the top up it is a little throaty at around 3k.

I didnt use fifth gear much before, and there is no need for it now. in fifth at 70 I downshift for a simple lane change just to get the motor in the revs.

I think all the bigger exhausts take away some low end though.

best part is it is all stainless since i live near the ocean, and my factory system rotted out after about six years, and i used the car 2-3 seasons with the rotted exhaust. i changed mine summer 2000.

Just got mine last month. DO NOT go through anyone else. Call borla yourself. I like mine. Not too loud, I don't like drawing the wrong kind of attention.

Eric,
Why do you say go only through Borla? I saved a couple hundred dollars by purchasing my system from Summit Racing!

My local tire shop, and the local speed shop couldn't get CragarSS rims (for my old firebird) for less than 175each. Summit had them for 108 each, and to ship all four was a whopping $6.

They were cheaper than RB on plugs etc too.
