Borla Exhaust

Here is a link to hear it.

What do you guys think??? I think it sounds bad ***! Anybody on the forum got this exhaust? Also does anyone know if it is two diff mufflers or does it lead to one then spilt out to two pipes at the rear? Any info would be great.

kleach

-Edit-
I was checking out some of the other sounds of other exhausts and a lot of them have the same sound clip. The 7 one is diff and of the ones that I heard was the only of its kind. Does anybody know if that is actually the borla exhaust on the 7? If not does anybody have this system on their car?

I have the Borla on my 90T2. The previous owner had just put it on. It sounds really deep while deccelerating. After i put the downpipe and midpipe on it got louder, but still not very loud. If you open it up wot all the way to reline it sounds mean. Mine starts after where the cat was with a y-pipe and has two boral mufflers (one each side) The tips look stock. I have no complaints with it.

the low end and bass of it sounds just like mine, but once i spool the turbo and redline it , it gets a little higher and not as rumbly as that there. Not sure if that sound clip was form a rotary or not. It sounds like in that sound clip that it pretty much stays about the same once they punch it, but on mine it gets increasingly louder. Not sure if that helps or not.

borla does have good sounding mufflers, but their FC catback system is barely bigger than stock. if i cant get an RB system for cheap, im going to go with 2 borla XR-1 mufflers, and have a muffler shop custom make the piping.
