I don't have one, but I have only heard good things about them. I have heard a sound clip and it sounded nice.

This is my car with the Borla catback on. I had to get longer hangers from Canadian Tire because with the stock rubber rings the tips were mashed against the bumper, looked shitty and made the paint bubble a bit and left huge soot streaks on the bumper. The tips hang probably 1cm short of the back of the bumper which in my opinion looks a bit crappy, but you could probably throw a spacer in a joint and make them stick out further.

I don't have any pics right now and my camera is resting in peace after a one-way trip to the garage floor, but the muffler cans fit very nicely into their positions. I think it looks pretty good, except you can't see the Borla logo pretty much at all.

If I could pick again, I would probably buy the Racing Beat catback - I thought this would be cheaper but it ended up being almost the same price, plus I like the RB tips better and how they angle upwards.

As for sound, it sounds great. Nice growl. Once I fix my exhaust leak it'll sound better

It's a very well-made exhaust with a good sound. I had one on my '90 NA from 1998-2007 and when we parted out the car and the exhaust came off, it looked almost as good as the day it came out of the box. It survived several salty winters with no visible deterioration. The exhaust doesn't look flashy at all, but I liked that about it.

I had the Borla catback on the RXX-7 in its 2-rotor days. For the most part I really liked it. A noticeable boost in performance and an awesome sound. On the track at Summit Point, there is a short straight between two hills. The sound reflected back as the car accelerated sounded like two bass trombones shortening their slides. Loved it.

The bad news is that there tends to be a droning sound between 2600 and 3200 rpm--legal highway speeds. I ended up having to put sound-deadening material (can't remember the brand) under the carpetting to prevent headaches.

I have one on my TII for now. Its coming off though on wednesday if you wanted to pick up a used one. I like it but im going for more power.

Mine also sticks out of the rear bumber about an inch. Maybe i have a different version than the above poster that has one that doesnt stick out.

I think the one made for the TII has a larger pipe diameter, so maybe the tips also stick out past the rear bumper. The Borla I had on my NA fit exactly as shown in Stevobob's post (#5 above).

Regarding the 3100 rpm droning, I did not notice this until I replaced my precat with a straight pipe and my OEM cat with a Bonez cat. I always blamed this phenomenon on the removal of the factory cats, but maybe it was the Borla after all?

I believe mine has some sort of presilencer on it. Sounds good at idle but after that i cant hear much because im 3/4ths of the way deaf from driving my straight pipe vert

Also realized the above exhaust pic is on an S5 so maybe its because of the difference in bumpers.

If you look on the Borla website, they currently list part number 14192 for both NA and Turbo applications. However, I could've sworn that when I ordered mine in 1998 they had two different versions. Senility, I guess.

S5s have longer bumpers by about an inch. so they would probably stick out about a half an inch on an S4.

the same thing happens with RB exhausts except their pretty flush on S5s and stick out about an inch on S4s.

I have one installed on my 90 vert right now that came off of a turboII. I think that it is a pretty good exhaust. It is not really loud but has more of a deeper tone to it. It fits pretty well on my car & looks almost stock. I am finishing up my turbo swap on my vert & will post pics of it when I put it back on my car. It should sound a bit different now since it is a turbo engine but we will see.
