Boosted to 15psi on 150k motor with new mods.

Well people its not over yet!!! car still kicking.

Thankfully my pos saab BOV opened at 15psi. that thing sux but I think it saved my motor last night.

Still not safe though. What does everyone think of my mods;

Walbro rewired constant 14 volts
680cc (gslse) secondaries
RB turbo back
Greddy front mount kit for stock turbo
Upgraded s5 turbo (Grand National compresser)
3" TID with 9" K&N filter
Stock ECU with RB FCD and Apexi SAFC untuned

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I'd like to keep my motor for another year.

I was thinking of porting my w/g and/or possible clipping the turbine. What does clipping do for lag and top end?

I bought an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator which I havnt put in yet, next month or so.

So im not gonna drive my car until I figure out what I should do.

In case you are wondering, the car was extremely fast, I'd say 250 hp to the wheels. Motor didnt seem to ping.

do you mean pop off valve? How did it save your motor, I'm a little confused about that statement.

What are the specs of the GN compressor? I think I remember from some old article reading they were a t3/t4 turbo stock. I know many people have just the 720cc secondaries and a safc on some small hyrbids, but yeah I think some bigger secondaries would be a good investment.

I'm pretty sure I recall clipping the turbine reducing lag time a bit, but of course it also reduces creep.

My bov is from a stock turbo saab. Its only designed to support about 10 psi. After that it leaks, and at 15 psi it just lets go. Have read about it on the saab forum. So basically my bov is a pop up valve at 15 psi.

I am not entirely sure what the specs are on the compressor. The inlet on the compessor is about 1/2 inch wider than stock. I've got to pull the numbers off the thing some time.

My secondaries are GSLSE injectors rated by mazda at 680cc. WHen I brought them to the injector cleaners they said the injectors were actually 760cc. Flow test concluded 760cc.

Not gonna boost again at least until w/g port and fpr install.

You should be safe... you have the fuel and the upgraded turbo will run alot cooler. I run 15lbs all the time on stock turbo and no problems here.

HAve you ran it on the 680s, walbro, and around 12 psi untuned? would it run pig rich or what?

I have a walbro, straight thru exhaus and cai(k&n) and i want to put the 680s in and turn the boost up to 12-13psi... would it run like ****?

im afraid of the 2500 to 3500 rpm range where i would be at 12 psi already with only the primaries on....
